The Tianyun Salmon Base is located in the Ili River Valley of Xinjiang - Nileke. The Ili River Valley is rich in cold water resources due to its advantage of being mainly replenished by the meltwater from the glaciers in the Tianshan Mountains. The meltwater from the glaciers and snow in the Tianshan Mountains is sweet, refreshing, cool, pure and rich in oxygen, providing unique resource conditions for the development of cold-water fish

    Every year, tens of thousands of native fish and filter-feeding fish are released into the reservoir to achieve the goal of purifying water with fish.

    The system is set at the lower part of a large net cage with wind and wave resistance capabilities. The bottom of the net cage is conical, which is convenient for the concentration and collection of self-abandoned fish. The self-abandoned fish gather at the bottom of the box and are sucked out from the bottom through the principle of pressure difference. The self-abandoned fish after being sucked out are promptly collected and transported ashore for harmless treatment. The application of this modern technology not only prevents the spoilage of self-abandoned fish from affecting water quality and effectively controls the spread of diseases, but also improves the overall quality of aquatic products and the ecological environment.

    Underwater cleaning robot

    In 2019, the Xinjiang Fishery Equipment Engineering Technology Center led technological innovation and successfully developed the first underwater cleaning robot in China specifically designed for fishery production. This robot is equipped with an advanced sonar imaging system and optical camera, which can precisely identify terrain and dirt in underwater environments. By preset the walking trajectory through the baseline positioning system, it can achieve precise cleaning of the bottom of the net box.

    This project is the first of its kind in the country to apply an online water quality monitoring system for upstream and downstream in fishery production to monitor water quality in real time. Introduce the world's advanced online water quality monitoring equipment and install it upstream and downstream of the aquaculture area to monitor water quality changes in real time. Since the establishment of the company, all the monitoring data over the past ten years have shown that the water environment quality in the downstream of the aquaculture area has not declined compared with that in the upstream.
